Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Imaging module that is offered by IBM Clinical Development (ICD) enables image upload, redaction, pixel de-identification, and review within the Cloud Service, without the need for a separate imaging database. 

The images are stored like other data points relative to a CRF, and reviewers are provided with a zero footprint iConnect® Access viewer. Because this module is integrated directly into the Cloud Service, all DICOM images in a Clinical Trial can be incorporated into any workflow. 

The module facilitates compliance with privacy standards by allowing de-identification of DICOM headers and pixel de-identification inside the workflow.
