April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month—a time to shine a light on one of the fastest growing neurological conditions in the world. At Datapharm, we are proud to support ongoing efforts to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease through innovative research, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
In Australia, more than 100,000 people are living with Parkinson’s disease, and the need for more effective treatments is urgent. Clinical trials are the cornerstone of progress, yet access and awareness remain limited, especially in regional areas. That’s why Datapharm is actively working with researchers, advocacy groups, and healthcare providers to help build a dedicated Parkinson’s clinical trials network across Australia.
Our goal is simple: connect patients with opportunities to participate in trials, support sites with the tools they need to succeed, and ensure that trial design reflects the real-world needs of people living with Parkinson’s. From feasibility assessments to site coordination, Datapharm is committed to strengthening Australia’s clinical research landscape.
Parkinson’s Awareness Month reminds us that progress comes through partnership. By working together, we can accelerate discoveries, improve quality of life, and bring hope to those impacted by this complex condition.
If you’re a researcher, clinician, or potential participant interested in joining the movement, we’d love to hear from you.
